Postsecondary Opportunities for 高中生

365体育APP provides a number of ways for high school students to participate in postsecondary opportunities through 双录取 and the 365体育APP早期学院.

  1. 双录取

    双录取, allows high school students in grades 9-12 the opportunity to discover the college experience on one of Macomb's campuses or online.

    1. Students may qualify for one of the following sponsorships:

        This option allows district-approved public high school students to earn college credit, as well as potentially earn high school credit, 指定课程. The school authorizes 365体育APP to bill the school district for charges (including tuition, 费用和如果获得批准, books) incurred by the student until maximum funding is reached.       3. Self-Sponsored

        This option is open to all students and provides the opportunity to earn college credit while still in high school, but the student is responsible for all costs including tuition, 费用, 和书籍.

    2. The following steps must be completed to enroll as a 双录取 student:

      2. If being sponsored, the high school must 提交 a completed High School 双录取 Sponsored Billing Authorization Form 到招生办 & 外展. A new High School 双录取 Sponsored Billing Authorization Form must be 提交ted by the high school each semester that the student  is sponsored.

      3. Before registering for the first semester, the applicant must complete their admission steps. 这些包括,完成 新生迎新 attending a Starting at Macomb Session with an academic advisor; obtaining a 365体育APP收费; and completing Placement. 双录取 students are not required to complete course planning.

  2. 365体育APP早期学院

    The 365体育APP早期学院 prepares high school students for the next level of their education by offering courses that will allow them to be a step ahead in college. This program provides students with a jumpstart to their future through a three-year career-focused program. Eligible students participate in an integrated sequence of high school and college courses during grades 11–13 with no out-of-pocket cost for books, 费用, 或学费. Advantages of the 365体育APP早期学院 program include:

    早期的入口 – 11th grade students enter a college program while still in high school and are able to earn a high school diploma and attend a 13th year of school after graduation to earn an associate degree at no cost to themselves f或学费, 费用或书籍.

    提前退出 – The 365体育APP早期学院 program is completed in three years through grades 11–13 and is facilitated by high school and college instructors who will move the student ahead of a traditional schedule.

    早期的成功 – Upon successful completion of the 365体育APP早期学院 program, students are poised for immediate success. They can earn up to the 60 college credits required for an associate degree or technical certificate. Credits can be transferred to a four-year university or the student can begin work right away, putting them well ahead of their peers.
